Microfiche Reports

The Navy Microfiche Report is a PDF image of the microfiche record for the RIC/APL you selected. It lists the components and basic characteristics such as manufacturer, nomenclature, source of the APL, etc.

Details of the Logistics Support Status Code (LSSC) are included in the US Navy microfiche reports. You can find the LSSC code definitions on the final page of the report with a decoded definition for each LSSC value.

To view LSSC codes in a report

1. Click Database and scroll down to US Navy, and then click APL/AEL.
2. In the NIIN field, enter 005347553, and then click Search.
   
   A search results table is displayed.
   
   
3. Select the first RIC/APL/AEL in the first column—00000010.
   
   Item details for the selected record are displayed with the Current APL/AEL open.
   
   
4. Click the Microfiche Report link in the upper right corner.
   
   Haystack generates a PDF document.
   
   
   
   
5. Scroll down to the last page of the report to view the LSSC codes with a definition for each character.
