D043

The D043 (Air Force Interchangeability and Substitutability Data File) contains item information by Master National Stock Number and Related National Stock Number. It provides the Air Force with the functional and physical replacement items that are equivalent in performance, reliability, and maintainability. In addition, it contains information on items capable of being exchanged for another under specific conditions or applications.

 To do a D043 Database search

1. Click Database, highlight US Air Force, and then select D043.
2. Enter 005347553 in the NIIN field, and then click Search. An I & S (Interchangeable and Substitutable) Summary is displayed with the ACT code and a list of related NSNs.
3. Click 00-534-7553 in the NIIN column to view a Detailed Summary.
4. Click 00-231-3180 in the IS NIIN column to view the FLIS Segment A, ML-C, and MCRL data for the IS NIIN.
