Company Details

The Company Details window presents a summary of information for a company, collated from CAGEClosedCommercial Activity Government Entity - listings of firms that manufacture or distribute items procured by the U.S. Government; also known as the Federal Supply Code for Manufacturers. The following are the types of activities and documents that are assigned CAGE Codes: Manufacturers; Vendors; Government agencies who manufacture an item of supply; Government agencies that control the development of government specifications and/or standards; Government specifications or standards when no single government source can be identified; NATO manufacturers. H4/H8 data, the System for Award Management (SAM), Dun & Bradstreet, and data curated by S&P Global.

Company Details include addresses, contact numbers, business type, DUNS number, government contact details, replacement and associated CAGE codes, UEIClosedUnique Entity Identifier - a 12-character, alphanumeric value generated by SAM.GOV which replaces the previously used DUNS Number. The UEI will be requested in, and assigned by, the System for Award Management. -The letters “O” and “I” are not used to avoid confusion with zero and one. -The first character is not zero to avoid cutting off digits that can occur during data imports, for example, when importing data into spreadsheet programs. -Nine-digit sequences are not used in the identifier to avoid collision with the nine-digit DUNS Number or Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN). -The first five characters are structured to avoid collision with the Commercial and Government Entity code formatting or CAGE code. -The Unique Entity ID is not case sensitive., and more.

Curated content includes a summary of the number of unique NSNs and part numbers tied to a company, the number of procurement history transactions, a thee-year procurement history report, whether the company has inventory listed in Haystack Gold, supported FSCClosedFederal Supply Classification - a four-digit code. The first two digits denote the group or major division of commodities; the last two denote the class or subdivisions of commodities within a group. Items which are similar in physical or performance characteristics are requisitioned together, or grouped together, for supply management purposes and given a Federal Supply Class (FSC) code. The FSC is. codes and NAICSClosedNorth American Industry Classification System. A 6-digit code, developed jointly by the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, replaces the SIC in the US. The first two digits designate a major Economic Sector (formerly Division) such as Agriculture or Manufacturing. The third digit designates an Economic Subsector (formerly Major Group) such as Crop Production or Apparel Manufacturing. The fourth digit designates an Industry Group, such as Grain and Oil Seed Farming or Fiber, Yarn and Thread Mills. The fifth digit designates the NAICS Industry such as Wheat Farming or Broadwoven Fabric Mills. categories, weapons systems associated with the organization, and more.
